Alidya by Marllor Biomedical SRL is the first injectable solution for treating cellulite based on amino acids and other ingredients. The mesotherapy treatment is a minimally invasive and non-surgical procedure to effectively treat and prevent cellulite, which is most common among women.
Alidya is the first injectable device specifically suitable for the prevention and treatment of gynoid lipodystrophy (cellulite). The special formulation of Alidya makes the product stand out from the rest of the products used to treat cellulite, because it reacts on deeper parts of the skin. In addition, it adapts better to biological surrounding whether it is superficial or deeper sub-acute parts of the skin.
The action of Alidya is activated through the solubilization and the removal of the extracellular toxic elements, which cause the genesis of cellulite. Furthermore, the restoration of normal cellular homeostasis help to improve the areas predisposed to the development of cellulite.
THE CORRECTION OF SKIN DEPRESSIONS
Alidya helps to dissolve the fat responsible for cellulite, but it also tightens some of the fibrous tissue to give a slightly smoother looking skin. Alidya is ideal to use after liposuction to correct the appearance of the skin and after other fat removal methods such as intralipotherapy, but can be used on any area developing cellulite. Furthermore, the minimally invasive non-surgical treatment improves the structure of the skin and provides a smooth, firmer and more even skin.
To obtain the best results, Alidya must be injected with the mesotherapy technique in the area affected by gynoid lipodystrophy (cellulite) in weekly sessions. The Alidya treatment requires on average a minimum of 7 applications in the specific area to be treated up to a maximum of 12 treatments.
WHAT IS CELLULITE?
Cellulite is an estrogen dependent fibro-fatty tissue disorder of the subcutaneous tissue, which is most prevalent in women. Cellulite is a very common, harmless skin condition that causes a lumpy and uneven appearance on the surface of the skin. The condition is caused when the fatty tissue pushes through the fibrous bands, called septae, which connects the skin to muscle. When fat cells increase, they push up against the skin, while the long, tough cords pull down. This creates an uneven surface or dimpling.
The most common areas with cellulite are buttocks, thighs and saddlebags, which usually occur after puberty.
The active agents in Alidya help to activate many essential mechanisms in the tissues responsible for cellulite, which makes it ideal to use for correction of skin depressions and dents on the surface of the skin. In addition, the injectable solution can be used after a liposuction treatment to correct the appearance of the skin, as well as in post-intralipotherapy treatments to correct changes in the adipose tissue.
